Patagonia

Hello, it's been a while since the last post and the reason is simple: I'm in Patagonia, and spending time editing picture and chasing wifi connection is not a priority. I reconnected with Jason in Cohiaque and we work our way slowly to Torres del Paine National park. We stay mainly in camping to save money but it is also because most hostel are full. Today we visited the Moreno glacier (wow!!) and tomorrow we will head North toward Cohiaque again where I will take a boat to Quellon. At this point Jason will be free of baby sitting ;-). Here some photos of the last few weeks

Patagonia solo

Hello everyone,
I'll take this opportunity to wish everyone a great and happy new year!!
I'm now in Puerto Montt in the North part of Patagonia.
Sadly, Jason is stuck in Santiago waiting for a new rear suspension for his motorcycle. I left because I only have 1 month left and the possibility of waiting days or even weeks was not an option with this time frame.
So, I'm driving most likely solo for the next while.
It will affect this blog greatly since I don't have access to Jason's computer there will be no or very little pictures. I'll try to take a few with my phone but the "real" photos will have to wait until I get home.

Cheers,
Bruno

Santiago at Christmas time

We are stuck in Santiago for a few days and I surname this period Netflix Zombies days.
Felt good do do nothing for a few days in a row.
Got my tires change on the 26th and then we went to Valparaiso.

Christmas day... everything is closed, just like at home

 The new rubbers and installed

Puno to far away

Riding day 28 and more

It's been a while so to catch up this will be a blog-o-ton.

We left Puno for Tacna and without knowing decided to ride on dirt for over 250km. it was a looooong day.

From Tacna we cross the border and Start our long way across the northern desert of Chile.

We stop in Iquique before going to San Pedro de Atacama and visit the valle de la luna and also some Flamenco laguna .

Then we road hard to Santiago stopping to Antofagasta, Copiapo and La Serena.
Ruins on the side of the road

The fast way is not always the fun way...
 Interesting rock formation
 First night of camping
Front tire is way over due
The back tire is also due and Santiago will help with that I'm sure.
